Given the known nutritional benefits of goat milk, DGC has developed a range of products that deliver these properties and are carefully formulated to meet the specific nutritional requirements of the user groups concerned. In particular infants and children can benefit from these products.
Since developing the world’s first goat milk based infant nutritional product in 1988, DGC has continue to enhance and develop its product range. The focus on product development has ensured that DGC’s products have evolved to meet market needs and incorporate the latest nutritional developments.

Infant Formula & Follow-On Formula
Infant formula (sometimes known as "Starter Formula") is designed to meet the nutritional needs of infants from birth, while Follow-On formula is designed for use by infants from 6 months of age. Goat milk infant formula can be given to infants whose mothers are unable to breastfeed.
Based on the unique nutritional advantages of goat milk, the infant formula is made from fresh goat milk of the highest quality, and fortified with vitamins, minerals and other essential nutrients that are necessary for infant development.
Whole goat milk, like whole cow milk, is unsuitable for infant feeding. Both these whole milks contain low levels of a number of vitamins and minerals relative to the requirements of human infants. They also have high levels of proteins and some minerals, imposing undue stress on the infant's immature organs. DGC's goat milk infant formula has been formulated to provide a nutritionally balanced food, meeting the Codex Standard for Infant Formula.

Growing Up Milk
Growing up milk is formulated to meet the nutritional needs of children aged up to 3-4 years. It is specially formulated to enhance the natural goodness of goat milk to better meet the nutritional needs of growing toddlers and young children:
- it provides additional nutrients such as iron, plus vitamin C to promote iron absorption, that ordinary milk can not provide,
- it is enriched with other minerals and vitamins, including folic acid.

Milk for Kids
Milk for kids is targeted at the 3-7 year age group and is a natural progression from Growing Up milk. Its composition has been modified to meet the nutritional needs of this age group.

Whole milk powder
DGC produces branded consumer packs of goat whole milk powder. This product is produced from fresh goat milk, from which only the water has been removed. The goat milk powder can then be reconstituted in water to produce a crisp and wholesome drink that provides the unique nutritional benefits of goat milk.
Wholemilk powder is also available as instantised powder (for ease of mixing), and fortified with some vitamins and minerals.

Long-life goat milk
DGC developed the world's first UHT goat milk in an effort to overcome the seasonal supply of goat milk in New Zealand, so that consumers can enjoy high quality goat milk all year round. Nanny Goat Lane UHT milk is available in both New Zealand and Australia.
